About The Accommodation

The Bedrooms

The bedrooms are converted from former cart sheds attached to our 18th century converted flint barn and are located to the rear of the main house with their own private entrances and lawned courtyard.

Each room is delightfully decorated in muted colours and furnished with a king/superking size bed made up with white cotton bedlinen, beautiful bedspreads and cushions. A double sofabed (for those requiring our family room option) provides very comfortable seating together with soft lighting, tv with dvd and vcr player, cd/radio - all the right ingredients for a very pleasurable stay.

Hospitality trays are provided in each room comprising of tea, coffee, fresh milk, homemade treat and Emma Bridgewater cups and saucers to make your tea taste even better!

The Ensuite Shower Rooms are tiled wall and floor in very stylish limestone and comprise of shower with glass partition, toilet and basin with mirror, light, shaving point and hot towel rail.

A bundle of `fluffy’ white towels and bathrobe is provided for your stay.

The Courtyard

The lawned courtyard outside the bedrooms is perfect for ‘taking five’ or eating ‘al fresco’. Teak benches for seating, young shrubs, box hedges and roses supply the foliage and floribunda which all enhance this serene and colourful space making it perfect for relaxing.

The Dining Room

Accessed via French windows from the courtyard, you can sit and eat your breakfast in this lovely room with exposed flint walls, inglenook fireplace, pamment floors and 10’ long table with seating for 12 people. For those not wishing to be quite so sociable, breakfast can be served in your room or in the courtyard in the summer.
