Breakfast

We use organic, fresh, homemade and locally sourced produce where possible. Bread is homemade, and the eggs come from our own hens (when they feel like laying!)

Everything is made fresh and cooked to time.

  • The Aga Breakfast
    • sizzling pork sausages
    • unsmoked back bacon
    • juicy tomatoes,
    • stuffed mushrooms
    • golden oozing free range eggs.
      The quantity is a challenge for some but quantities can be reduced!
      Everything in this breakfast is cooked in the oven (one of the aga’s many talents) except for the eggs which are cooked on the aga hotplate.
      Only a drizzle of olive oil is used on the mushrooms and tomatoes and therefore this meal is as healthy as it can possibly be!
  • Fruit Salad – the best homemade fruit salad using fresh fruit and served with Greek yoghurt.
  • Lizzie's yoghurt surprise!
  • Scotch Pancakes served with a choice of butterscotch sauce and whipped cream, lemon and sugar, maple syrup or fruit compote.
  • Scrambled Eggs served on thick slices of wholemeal toast with smoked salmon.
  • Homemade bread served with a selection of conserves.
  • Local Kippers served with poached eggs and thick slices of wholemeal toast.
  • A selection of organic cornflakes, homemade muesli or porridge are also available.

All the above are served with fresh coffee, tea and fruit juices.
